AI email automation that builds and runs your flows
AI email automation is software that decides who should get which email and when, then writes and schedules it. The MarketingRobot Email Robot does this inside your own Mailchimp, Klaviyo or Brevo account, using store and CRM data.
The email list most small businesses leave idle
Almost every small business collects email addresses: checkout forms, booking tools, quote requests, a signup box in the footer. Far fewer send anything useful to them. The usual result is a newsletter every few months and no automated flows at all, which means a buyer who abandons a cart or a lead who goes quiet never hears from you again.
The Email Robot works on the account you already pay for. It does not move your list to a new tool and it does not import contacts from anywhere else. It builds flows, segments and campaigns where your list already lives, so if you stop using MarketingRobot everything keeps running.
An approval, in Copilot
The robot drafts the send and the audience, then waits. Approve, edit or reject in one tap.
Spring restock, 3 bestsellers back in your size
To 2,140 subscribers who bought in the last 12 months. Tuesday 10:00.
Flows the robot builds first
Flows run on their own once live, so they usually bring more value than any single newsletter. The robot picks the order based on your business type and what your data shows.
| Flow | Trigger | Emails | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome | New subscriber | 3 over 7 days | Every business |
| Abandoned cart | Checkout started, no order in 1 hour | 3 over 3 days | Stores on Shopify |
| Post-purchase | First order delivered | 2 over 14 days | Stores with repeat products |
| Lead nurture | New lead in HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce | 4 over 21 days | B2B and service firms |
| Win-back | No order or open in 90 days | 2 over 10 days | Stores and memberships |
| Booking reminder | Appointment created | 2 before the visit | Clinics and local services |

Segments from store and CRM data
A single list that gets the same email is the reason many newsletters are ignored. The robot creates segments from data you already have: order count and value from Shopify, deal stage and lead source from your CRM, and engagement from the email platform itself.
- First-time buyers and repeat buyers get different offers.
- Leads still in the trial or quote stage get product education, closed customers get onboarding.
- Subscribers who have not opened in 120 days stop getting regular sends, which protects your sender reputation.
- Visitors who came from a specific ad campaign get the follow-up that matches the ad promise.
What the Email Robot sends alone and what it asks first
Email is hard to take back once sent, so broad sends stay on approval in every mode. The full logic of modes is on the marketing copilot vs autopilot page.
| Action | Copilot | Autopilot (inside guardrails) |
|---|---|---|
| Build a segment | Does alone | Does alone |
| Write a flow and save it paused | Does alone | Does alone |
| Switch a new flow on | Asks first | Asks first |
| Replace a weak email inside a live flow | Asks first | Does alone |
| Send a newsletter to a segment | Asks first | Does alone if the segment is on your allowed list |
| Send to the whole list | Asks first | Asks first |
| Delete contacts or change consent status | Never | Never |
A worked example for an online store
Say a Shopify store sells coffee gear with an average order of $68 and has 4,000 subscribers in Klaviyo, but only a welcome email and an occasional newsletter. Shopify shows about 120 started checkouts a week that end without an order.
In the first week the robot proposes an abandoned cart flow of three emails, a post-purchase flow that suggests filters and beans 10 days after a grinder order, and a win-back flow for 900 subscribers who bought once over a year ago. If the cart flow brings back 5 percent of the 120 weekly carts, that is 6 orders, or about $408 a week in revenue that was walking away. The report shows that number from actual Shopify orders, not estimates, once the flow is live.
The newsletter changes too. Instead of one monthly email to all 4,000 subscribers, the robot proposes two smaller sends: a brewing guide for people who bought a grinder in the last six months and a restock reminder for buyers of beans whose last order was 30 to 45 days ago. Each send goes to a segment that has a reason to open it, and the report compares revenue per recipient with the old single newsletter.
Each flow uses the same brand voice as the AI content marketing module, and product links point to pages the store already has.
Plan availability and safety rules
The Email Robot is one of the eight robots in Growth and higher, together with SEO, social, CRO and competitor tracking. Starter covers ads, content and analytics. Email work counts toward your monthly robot tasks: 250 on Growth, 900 on Pro and 2,500 on Scale. Details are on the pricing page.
The robot only emails people already on your list with the consent your platform records, it keeps unsubscribe links and footers your platform requires, and it never buys or imports lists. Blocked brand words apply to subject lines and body text. Every send and every flow change appears in the activity feed, and the kill switch pauses the robot on any screen. Revenue from email shows next to ads and SEO in the AI marketing analytics report.
Frequently asked questions
Which email platforms does the Email Robot support?
Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Brevo. It works inside your existing account, so your list, templates and sending domain stay where they are.
Will the robot send emails without my approval?
On Copilot never. On Autopilot it can send to segments you put on the allowed list, while new flows and whole-list sends always wait for approval.
Can it write in my existing email template?
Yes. It fills your saved templates in the email platform and keeps your header, footer and colors.
Does it work for B2B lead nurturing?
Yes. With HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce connected, it builds nurture sequences by deal stage and stops them when a lead becomes a customer.
What happens to my flows if I cancel?
They stay in your email platform and keep running as built. The robot simply stops changing them.
